WHO WE ARE
We are Eze and Vero, a couple united by our love for nature and mountain life. Together we created Suri Expeditions, a venture that reflects not only our passion, but also our way of seeing the world: simple, authentic, and connected to what is essential.
Eze is a mountain guide, as well as a Physical Education teacher and lifeguard. He leads our expeditions, plans the logistics and routes, and ensures that every experience is safe, technical, and enriching.
Vero (the one who writes to you, answers your messages, organizes, designs, communicates, and offers her opinions) is a pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist. Behind the scenes, she manages social media and everything necessary for Suri to function with heartfelt dedication. This project began before the pandemic and has evolved over time. We discovered that connecting with nature is much more than physical activity: it's an emotional need, a way to reconnect with oneself and others. That's why we set out to offer a warm, personal, and professional service, where everyone feels supported and valued.
We are life partners and climbing partners. We love climbing, training on the wall or bouldering, cycling, running, or simply hiking in new places. At home, we talk about mountains, high-altitude medicine, and ideas for new expeditions. We are driven by curiosity, adventure, and the desire to share what we love.
Suri Expeditions is a project born from the heart. Every detail—the name, the colors, the design—has meaning for us. And while we are the founders, we wouldn't be where we are without the support of many people who believe in this project. We also have a valuable team of friends and mountain guides in different parts of Argentina who join us on many of our outings.
We don't offer a standard experience; we offer something personal, unique, and made with love. Because for us, each expedition is much more than an activity: it's an opportunity to build community, learn, grow, and connect with our deepest selves.
Why Suri Expeditions?
Because we are inspired by the stars.
Those mountains that accompany us on every journey, that we observe in silence while preparing dinner, sharing a hot tea, or taking refuge in the tent. The same ones that help calm our nerves before summit day, when we search for shapes in their immensity to distract our minds and dream a little longer.
One night, during an outing with friends, the name came to us. We were gazing at the Southern Cross, that constellation that has always guided us, steady and luminous in the southern sky. Thus Suri Expeditions was born: as a tribute to that guiding star, a symbol of direction, perseverance, and connection to what is essential.
